Where is your data stored?

The user data is stored in a special file located in the current user's Documents folder.The following specifies the exact location for each operating system:

• Mac: [current user]/Documents/ScriptureDirect/AuthorData/SDAuthorData.sdb
• Win XP: My Documents\ScriptureDirect\AuthorData\SDAuthorData.sdb
• Win Vista: Documents\ScriptureDirect\AuthorData\SDAuthorData.sdb

Backup

You can backup your ScriptureDirect data by making a copy of the SDAuthorData.sdb file. It is recommended that you make a copy on extarnal storage like a CD, DVD, removable hard drive or usb flash memory. If you already backup everything in your documents folder, the ScriptureDirect data will be included in those backups.

Recovery

To restore your backed-up data, you simply copy the SDAuthorData.sdb file from your backup location to the ../ScriptureDirect/AuthorData/ folder. If the backup process renamed the file you will need to rename the file to SDAuthorData.sdb.
